How long is the contract between 2k sports and the mlb for the rights for making games?

I liked MVP baseball and am not the big of a fan of 2k sports so i was just wondering how long the contract between 2k sports and the mlb is.

All i know is, 2k is not putting forth an effort with the MLB game they make. I had 2 different versions of it, and it had so many bugs, that i just traded them in. I believe i had the 05 and 06 versions for Xbox. As for the 360 and/or ps3, yea, it’s pretty….but still has horrible controls.
I really hope EA gets the MLB rights back. I want to play quality baseball. ppulseofthemaggotss
